My vision for a women-focused nonprofit took shape while I was balancing two worlds: completing a Master’s in Nonprofit Management at the University of Baltimore and earning my degree in Mortuary Science.
During my time in the funeral industry, I witnessed the profound heartbreak of mothers who had lost infants or young children. Beyond the emotional weight, many faced the staggering financial burden of final arrangements. I realized there was a critical gap in support for those experiencing such an unexpected tragedy.
In honor of two influential women in my life—my mother and my godmother, both of whom share the name Audrey—I founded Angels For Audrey, Inc. in March 2025. Now a registered 501(c)3, our mission is to provide financial assistance for final dispositions, therapy, autopsies, and grave markers. We invite you to join our journey and support our mission at angelsforaudrey.org or follow us on Instagram @angels4audrey.

We are proud to partner with a variety of organizations and businesses that
support our community. Our current partners are Chick-fil-A and Great Wolf
Lodge. These partnerships enable us to expand our reach within Maryland and
provide even more resources and services to help disabled individuals with an
individualized plan of grief therapy and counseling.

We are committed to continuing our important work for years to come. We look
to increase the availability of grief support services to underserved, disabled, and
remote communities through the development of online platforms and mobile
services to reach the broader audience. Your support can help get us there.

We believe in the power of helping others and making a positive impact on our community. Our therapist, Angelica Mooney, is here to support and guide you through the complexities of grief.
